KitKat is the CodeName of Upcoming Android OS 4.4
Do you Know what is the codename of next Andorid OS? Yes you heard it right, Its nothing but "KitKat" and the upcoming Android Mobile OS version will be 4.4
Many would have thought the upcoming Android version might be version 5, but that's not - The upcoming version will be 4.4 and the name is KitKat after Jelly Bean. "KitKat" has been officially revealed by Google Android head Sundar Pichai with the picture revealed in his tweet.
Also he tweeted that "Over 1 Billion Android activation's has been done already" which is a huge number and as you can see Android is growing fast very rapidly. KitKat was the name of old and famous chocolate brand from Nestle and also he revealed the image of KitKat modeled droid as you see below.
Also Android lovers, Keep watching the official page of Android Kitkat. Must say, Nestle is the winner over here with its chocolate brand name chosen by Google.

Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets. Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each Android version is named after a dessert: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean. As everybody finds it difficult to stay away from chocolate we decided to name the next version of Android after one of our favorite chocolate treats, Kitkat®!
