Keyboard Shortcuts for Outlook.com

Outlook.com is the latest Mail Service from Microsoft being released some time back and learn to master Outlook.com with Keyboard Shortcuts.

Keyboard Shortcuts are of useful for folks like me who would like to operate or work mainly with keyboard rather than mouse, Since a lot of time can be saved by not only working on Keyboard but above all you will  get a lot more comfort with the shortcuts available for particular service.

Outlook.com has really made a buzz among other email service's and recently Microsoft had even released Anti-Gmail campaign called "Scroogled" to attack Gmail Services and tactically had the advantage by introducing Outlook.com and thereby it reached quite some large audience across the globe.

People who have signed-up for Outlook.com Service may realize it easier when dealing with mails. For Instance, If a mail is opened and for deleting that particular mail, Just Press"Delete" button and it removes the mail, Send it to trash and automatically you will be switched to next mail. Cool Isn't it?.. Well i felt cool.

Kick Start Outlook.com Experience by Enabling Keyboard Shortcuts:

Below are the Steps for enabling the Keyboard Shortcuts:

Switch-On Keyboard Shortcuts by going through below steps (Refer the above Screenshot)

  • Click Gear Icon which is at right-corner
  • Click "Keyboard Shortcuts" Option Under Customizing Outlook Section.

After following the above Steps mentioned, It may land up to a page (Refer Screenshot below) which provides different modes of keyboard shortcuts and this is one key feature of Outlook.com Mail service which Microsoft has enabled.

The Yahoo! Mail and Gmail modes support many of the shortcuts from those services and For instance, If any Gmail User or Yahoo Mail user switch over to Outlook.com, They feel free with no hassles just by enabling the suitable Mode, Only if the user is fond of using Keyboard Shortcuts.

Almost every users might have an experience with Microsoft Outlook - Office Product, So switching over to Outlook.com Service might not be a difficult task considering the shortcuts being used is More or less same except some and with additional shortcuts to learn, It's not a tough task and also with give Shortcuts Modes such as Gmail and Yahoo Mail, Users might find it easier to go with Outlook.com.
